PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductor which stably exhibits proton conductivity for a long period of time under non-humidification conditions at an operation temperature of 100 to 200°C, which has high proton conductivity and low activation energy, and which is capable of easy thinning and scaling-up.SOLUTION: Disclosed is proton conductor which is obtained by mixture of (1) phosphate glass and (2) an imidazole-based derivative. A mixture ratio of phosphate glass and imidazole-based derivative is within a range of (1):(2)=1:3.5 to 1:5, and the proton conductor is an amorphous article. |
