PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine controller capable of controlling the drive of an electric rotary machine while stably limiting a power supply current.SOLUTION: A control unit 30 calculates a voltage command value on the basis of a calculated current command value and a motor current flowing in a motor 10. The control unit 30 estimates inverter power on the basis of the motor current. The control unit 30 estimates, on the basis of the estimated inverter power and a power supply voltage, a power supply current which is a current flowing from a battery 2 to an inverter unit 20. The control unit 30 determines a target power supply current which is a target value for the power supply current. The control unit 30 determines a limited gain on the basis of the estimated power supply current and the determined target power supply current. The control unit 30 calculates, on the basis of the calculated voltage command value and the determined limited gain, a post-limiting voltage command value which is a voltage command value after limiting. The control unit 30 is able to limit the power supply current by outputting, to the inverter unit 20, a command value corresponding to the calculated post-limiting voltage command value. |
