PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and properly update a version of each unit in a housing by a remote control without requiring any manpower so as to improve work efficiency in updating the version of each unit.SOLUTION: An version update system has multiple housing and a terminal. The multiple housing has multiple units and a controller. The terminal includes version update request generation means and request distribution means. The version update request generation means generates a version update request including a unit ID identifying the type of a unit to be a version update object and version update data. The request distribution means distributes the version update request to the multiple housing. The multiple housing has version update control means. The version update control means rewrites software set in a corresponding unit into version update data on the basis of the unit ID included in the version update request.
