PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining amount derivation device for a rolled recording medium that is suitable for deriving the remaining amount of a rolled recording medium in an easy method while preventing the recording medium from being damaged, a supply device for the rolled recording medium, and a remaining amount derivation method and a program for the rolled recording medium.SOLUTION: In a remaining amount derivation device for a rolled recording medium, acquisition means acquires, by a predetermined sensor, a position of a tension roller which applies tension to a recording medium, formed by rolling a recording medium for image formation, unwound from holding means of holding the rolled recording medium rotatably, and conveyed to image formation means of forming an image on the recording medium. Derivation means derives the remaining amount of the rolled recording medium held by the holding means based upon the position of the tension roller acquired by the acquisition means.
