An electronic-device cooling apparatus having a cuboid-shaped housing in which a heat-generating component is contained, wherein two mutually orthogonal adjacent surfaces of the cuboid-shaped housing are effectively cooled. In a power conversion apparatus (1) provided with the electronic-device cooling apparatus, the two mutually orthogonal adjacent surfaces (7a, 7e) of the housing (2) are provided with an air-blowing fan (3) for blowing air toward the two surfaces (7a, 7e) through a chamber compartment (11), and the interior of the chamber compartment (11) is provided with a flat-plate-shaped partition part (30) inclined so that the air is divided into desired blow volumes that correspond to the heat generation ratio of the surfaces (7a, 7e). |
