PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature point extraction device capable of accurately extracting a feature point of a target object from an input image.SOLUTION: A feature point extraction device 1 includes: a storage section 30 for storing portion information constituting an object and a position of a standard feature point in association with each other; candidate feature point setting means 43 for setting a candidate feature point having the portion information to the position of the standard feature point in an object area image; portion likelihood calculation means 44 for calculating a portion likelihood representing a possibility constituting a portion corresponding to the candidate feature point; local likelihood calculation means 45 for calculating a local likelihood representing a possibility that the candidate feature point is a feature point from the candidate feature point and its neighborhood pixel; evaluation value calculation means 46 for calculating an evaluation value weighted so that the local likelihood for the candidate feature point becomes higher as the portion likelihood of the candidate feature point is higher; and feature point extraction means 47 for extracting the feature point on the basis of the evaluation value. |
