PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve higher luminance and improved reliability in an organic electroluminescent display device.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent display device 1 of the present invention includes a substrate 10, a plurality of pixels P formed on the substrate, and a sealing film 40 covering the plurality of pixels. The sealing film includes a first barrier layer 40a, a base layer 40b covering an upper surface of the first barrier layer, an intermediate layer 40c locally formed on an upper surface of the base layer, and a second barrier layer 40d covering the upper surface of the base layer and an upper surface of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is formed so as to cover a step S on the upper surface of the base layer. |
