PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acetate butyrate film which is less susceptible to unevenness due to condensation.SOLUTION: A cellulose acetate butyrate film satisfies the following conditions (1) to (5). (1) The film contains 10-50 mass% of at least one type of polycondensation ester containing an aromatic dicarboxylic acid residue and an aliphatic diol residue with respect to cellulose acetate butyrate content. (2) The film has a thickness of 20-60 μm. (3) An absolute value of change in Rth(550) before and after a water contact test shall be no more than 5 nm. (4) Change in equilibrium moisture content as determined by the Karl Fischer method at temperature of 25°C and relative humidity of 80% before and after immersing the film in pure water of 40°C for 16 hours shall be no more than 0.8 mass%. (5) Variation in Rth(550) of the film shall be no more than 2 nm.
