A liquid crystal alignment film, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The method for preparing the alignment film comprises the following steps: coating stearic acid onto a substrate; adding a polyamide acid salt solution into deionized water to make the polyamide acid salt solution form a stable monomolecular film on the surface of the deionized water; enabling the substrate coated with a layer of stearic acid to horizontally contact the polyamide acid salt monomolecular layer on the surface of the deionized water to form a monomolecular polyamide acid salt layer; and performing imidization on the monomolecular polyamide acid salt layer to form a monomolecular polyimide film.
