<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minimum-sized roll compactor which can have a compact configuration, does not require an accessory equipment for a roll pressure means, and of which installation and operation can be easily carried out in even a narrow space such as a hot cell for treating a high radioactive material.SOLUTION: A minimum-sized roll compactor comprises: a molding roll module including a housing 10 having an intake port and a discharge port 13, a drive roller 21 which is built in the housing and performs pressure-molding of powders introduced through the intake port, and a driven roller paired with the drive roller; and a roll pressure means which performs pressure adjustment of the rollers of the molding roll module and in which an elastic unit, which is configured from many disc springs for inducing displacements of some or all rollers in order to prevent an overload applied to the rollers, is introduced.</p> |
