PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell suppressed in occurrence of wrinkles due to heat-sealing.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrochemical cell includes: an arrangement step of overlapping a first sheet part (8) provided with a first opening (8a) having the longitudinal direction on a second sheet part (9) provided with a second opening (9a) and arranging an electrode body (2) including a positive electrode and a negative electrode between the first sheet part and the second sheet part; and a sealing step of sealing the electrode body into between the first sheet part and the second sheet part. The arrangement step includes the step of inserting a first pin into the first opening and the second opening, fixing a relative position between the first sheet part and the second sheet part in the transverse direction intersecting in the longitudinal direction, at a position of the first pin, and making the relative position between the first sheet part and the second sheet part in the longitudinal direction, variable at the position of the first pin. The sealing step includes the step of heat-sealing the first sheet part and the second sheet part along the longitudinal direction. |
