A medical instrument (300) which is used in a medical treatment that corrects displacement occurring in hypermobile tissue in a living body by connecting the hypermobile tissue to low mobility tissue which has a smaller range of mobility than the hypermobile tissue. The medical instrument (300) comprises: an observation section (330) by which the tip side is observed using an imaging device (170); and a lumen (390) for a treatment instrument, said lumen guiding the treatment instrument (600), which treats low mobility tissue, to the vicinity of the low mobility tissue. The medical instrument (300) is inserted into the living body from outside the living body, and has a long insertion instrument (310) that has a dissection function whereby living tissue is dissected when the insertion instrument (310) advances towards the low mobility tissue in the living body. |
