The present invention provides a search suggestion method and apparatus for map search, and a computer storage medium and device, a pre-established POI index library recording position coordinates of different POIs. The method comprises: S1. acquiring a keyword input by a user into a search box currently; S2. matching the keyword with indexes in the POI index library, to determine POI names corresponding to the matching indexes and POI position coordinates; and S3. providing search suggestions for the user by using the POI names determined in Step S2, and providing a distance from each POI position coordinate in the search suggestion to the position coordinate where the user is. When the user only wants to know the distance from the current position to a certain POI, or wants to use the distance from the current position to a certain POI before positioning or route planning is specified as a reference, the user operation is easier and the network traffic is reduced by using the present invention. |
