<p>The invention relates to a device for assisting with the sharpening of pencils, mainly to be used by small children and people with reduced psychomotor capacities, formed by a control knob (1) with an anatomical shape, in the inner receptacle of which there is a mobile cylinder (3), with a longitudinal cavity (4) in the front end thereof for the rotatable insertion of a pencil or any type of crayon, and with means for rotatably securing the pencil or crayon and the mobile cylinder (3), such that the control knob (1) allows the rotation of the mobile cylinder (3) in one direction of rotation, but not in the other; said device comprising a cover (12) for the control knob (1) with a neck (13) having an inner diameter which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the mobile cylinder (3), allowing the rotation thereof but not the translation, the cover (12) being coupled to the control knob (1).</p> |
