The objective of the present invention is to achieve a stable adjustment of supply and demand in a management device that manages the energy consumption of the heat pump devices of multiple consumer households. This management device, which manages multiple heat pump devices and brings the total amount of energy consumption close to a target value, is equipped with: a request transmission unit; a consumption information reception unit; a database; and a learning unit. The request transmission unit transmits a requested energy consumption value to each heat pump device. The consumption information reception unit receives the actual energy consumption values from the heat pump devices. The database stores a response characteristic (125) with respect to the requested energy consumption value for each consumer household maintaining a heat pump device. The learning unit learns the response characteristics (125), and supplies the database with a learning result based on the records of the responses of each consumer household with respect to the requested energy consumption value. |
