PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a bead filler which improves further the balance of operation stability, durability and low rolling resistance.SOLUTION: With 100 pts.wt. of a diene type rubber containing natural rubber, 60-80 pts.wt. of a carbon black of a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 25-90 m/g, 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. of an S-(aminoalkyl)thiosulfuric acid of formula (1) or its metal salt and 5-20 pts.wt. of a novolak type phenol resin are blended, and a methylene donor is blended additionally in a blend ratio of 5-15 wt.% relative to the blend amount of the novolak type phenol resin.
