PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user about a state of an image forming apparatus even when a monitoring service of a central monitoring device is stopped.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 102 stores management information of an image forming apparatus 101 without transmitting it to a central monitoring device 103 (S614) when a monitoring service of the central monitoring device 103 is stopped (Yes in S604), transmits an email on the management information according to a predetermined condition (S608, S611), sets an email-sent flag in the management information to ON (S609, S612), and transmits the management information to the central monitoring device 103 after restarting the monitoring service. The central monitoring device 103 transmits the email on the management information (S707) when the email-sent flag in the management information received from the monitoring device 102 is OFF (No in S705), and does not transmit the email on the management information when the email-sent flag is ON (Yes in S705). |
