PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchannel device which realizes effective operation of a trace amount of liquid, and a method regarding the device.SOLUTION: The microchannel device 1 according to the present invention comprises: an upstream flow channel part (10) for allowing upstream liquid plug and gas to flow; a downstream flow channel part (20) for allowing downstream liquid plug and gas to flow; a liquid holding part (30) which is provided between a downstream end of the upstream flow channel part and an upstream end of the downstream flow channel part, and holds a main liquid plug; and a gas bypass flow channel part (40) which is provided so as to bypass the liquid holding part from the downstream end of the upstream flow channel part to the upstream end of the downstream flow channel part, and is used for allowing gas to flow in the state where the liquid holding part holds the main liquid plug. |
