PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate deterioration of access performance caused such as by load on a virtual storage.SOLUTION: A virtual storage that performs virtualization of a storage device for a virtual machine comprises: cache memory which temporarily stores write data for the storage device from the virtual machine and read data read from the storage device; access pattern analysis means which analyzes a plurality of access requests for the storage device from the virtual machine and analyzes whether the pattern of accesses is random; and cache management means which controls increase/decrease of a storage capacity of the cache memory according to utilization of the cache memory when the access analysis means determines that accesses to the storage device are random.
