1. A liquid crystal display, comprising:
a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; a first alignment layer and a second alignment layer formed on the first substrate and the second substrate, respectively, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first substrate and the second substrate and including liquid crystal molecules, wherein the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer are photoaligned via a photoalignment operation, the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer include a first irradiation region and a second irradiation region having different light irradiation amounts during the photoalignment operation, respectively, and an alignment direction of liquid crystal molecules of a liquid crystal layer positioned in the first irradiation region is different from an alignment direction of liquid crystal molecules of a liquid crystal layer positioned in the second irradiation region. |
