In this automatic transmission control device, between an input shaft to which torque is inputted from a power source and an output shaft which outputs torque to an output member are disposed in parallel a first transmission path, which is provided with a first transmission mechanism in which the greater the configured gear ratio, the smaller the moment of inertia on the input shaft, and a second transmission path, which is provided with a second transmission mechanism having a configured gear ratio different from that of the first transmission mechanism, and power is transmitted between the input shaft and the output shaft through either the first transmission path or the second transmission path, wherein the gear ratio of the first transmission mechanism is configured to the maximum gear ratio when the path for power transmission is switched from the second transmission path to the first transmission path.
