The present invention provides a method and apparatus for mapping optical interface links and copper cable ports, the method comprising: processing a received optical signal and parsing therefrom the corresponding payload data; on the basis of the port information of the data, transmitting said data to the corresponding copper cable port; and transmitting directly or transmitting post-processing a data packet received from the copper cable port. The present invention can solve problems associated with the node device mapping the logical link of the optical interface to the user copper cable port data.
