PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for lighting which enables easy positioning to an attachment part.SOLUTION: An LED unit 1 is attached to a predetermined attachment part 100 and includes: an LED light source part 31; a body part which has a rear surface placed on an attachment surface 100a of the attachment part 100 and holds the LED light source part 31; and a terminal part 40 which receives electric power for causing the LED light source part 31 to emit light from the exterior. Protruding parts 21a and 21b (a rear surface irregularity part 21) for fitting in parts of the attachment part are provided on the rear surface of the body part.
