PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of enhancing security relating to a random number circuit to be installed.SOLUTION: A slot machine comprises an update monitoring circuit 537 that can monitor: occurrence of frequency abnormality in a clock signal for a random number for updating numerical data held by numerical value holding means of a 16-bit random number circuit 508b; and an update state of the numerical data held by the numerical value holding means. A main control unit 41 performs setting relating to monitoring of a random number circuit before extracting the numerical data (a random number value) from the random number circuit. A CPU 41a to be installed in the main control unit 41 specifies an address corresponding to an area storing data to be read out, on the basis of first information and second information. When specifying the address, the CPU 41a specifies the first information on the basis of a specific value ("F0H" stored as a fixed value) stored in a Q register and specifies the second information designated by a control command. The CPU 41a changes the specific value stored in the Q register on the condition that a prescribed change condition is satisfied. |
