PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of reducing the influence due to deflection at a curved surface of an ultrasonic wave irradiated to the curved surface and capable of restraining a surface echo at the curved surface even when the surface of an inspection object is the curved surface.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 transmits an ultrasonic wave to an inspection object W having a groove part G constituted by a curved surface and detects a defect inside of the inspection object W by receiving a reflected ultrasonic wave reflected inside the inspection object W. The ultrasonic probe 1 includes: a transmission oscillator 2 for transmitting an ultrasonic wave to a curved surface of the groove part G; and a reception oscillator 3 for receiving the reflected ultrasonic wave reflected inside the inspection object W and propagated to the curved surface. Then, the transmission oscillator 2 connects points on which the transmitted ultrasonic wave is focused at a position equivalent to the curved surface of the groove part G in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to an extending direction of the groove part G or in the inside of the inspection object W just underneath the curved surface, and the transmission oscillator 2 and the reception oscillator 3 are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other along the extending direction of the groove part G. |
