PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine for vehicle in which step-out is prevented when making a transition from diode rectification to synchronous rectification, and high efficiency rectification operation can be maintained while preventing generation of a surge voltage incident to step-out or damage on the switching elements.SOLUTION: A control circuit 54 performs transition rectification operation for gradually increasing a predetermined period for turning MOS transistors 50, 51 on when a transition is made from diode rectification operation to synchronous rectification operation, by controlling the MOS transistors 50, 51 on/off, along with the diode rectification operation for performing rectification by a diode by turning the MOS transistors 50, 51 off, and the synchronous rectification operation for electrifying via a diode after turning the MOS transistors 50, 51 on for a predetermined period. |
