<p>The present invention provides a fire extinguishing composition. The composition comprises monoammonium phosphate and potassium chloride. In one embodiment, the composition comprises a weight percentage of monoammonium phosphate in a range of between about 51 % and about 99%, and a weight percentage of potassium chloride in a range of between about 1 % and about 49%.</p>
