The invention relates to a completely or only partly enclosing cover (C) for a wing mirror housing (A) on vehicles, said cover being attached on or over the wing mirror. The cover includes a reflective or mirror surface (B) which is preferably rigid or flexible only to a very low degree. The cover can be drawn over the wing mirror housing (A) as a replacement mirror in a simple manner when the wing mirror of the vehicle is damaged.
