<p>A sanitary washing device including: a toilet seat shaft having an operation piece provided to a rear end part of a toilet seat; a bearing hole provided to a side part of a main body; a support member (510) to which a switch (530) and an elastic body (520) are secured; and a moveable member (540) for pressing the switch (530), the moveable member being supported on the support member (510) so as to be free to swing up and down. When the toilet seat is in an inverted position, the toilet seat shaft is pressed down by the body weight of the user, a contact point of the switch (530) is contacted, and a sitting detection signal is transmitted. Another feature of the configuration is that when the toilet seat is in an upright position, downward movement of the toilet seat shaft is restricted by the bearing hole, and the contact point of the switch (530) is kept open. Erroneous detections of sitting can thereby be suppressed, and safety and reliability can be improved.</p> |
