The present invention relates to a surge absorber and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly, to a surge absorber, which is formed by using a ceramic tube made of a ceramic material with high mechanical intensity and bonding the ceramic tube to a sealing electrode with a brazing ring, has a remarkably increased durability, and stably performs an operation at a high voltage by completely sealing the ceramic tube, and to a manufacturing method thereof. |
