PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an insertion margin of a refrigerant pipe with respect to a flareless pipe joint in the field without carrying an exclusive tool for marking in mutually connecting refrigerant pipes of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit of an air conditioner by the flareless pipe joint.SOLUTION: In an outdoor unit 1 for an air conditioner, refrigerant pipes connecting the outdoor unit and an indoor unit are connected by a flareless pipe joint, and a piping cover is detachably attached to a piping connection part on the outdoor unit side. A gauge part 3 for measuring a suitable length of an insertion margin with respect to the flareless pipe joint of the refrigerant pipe P is provided in the piping cover 2. |
