摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating an integrated gasification complex cycle (IGCC) plant with use of a liquid fuel converted from synthesis gas.SOLUTION: The operating method of an IGCC plant including a gasifier for generating synthesis gas from a carbon supply source, a synthetic gas combustion system for generating electric power by combusting the synthetic gas, and a natural gas premixing combustion system comprises the steps of: generating synthetic gas at a constant rate by operating a gasifier; converting a part of the synthetic gas into a liquid fuel for storage when a required electric supply in the actual state is lower than a base load corresponding to the constant output of the gasifier; and converting a part of the stored liquid fuel into fuel gas with a gasification unit which gasifies the liquid fuel so as to be mixed with a first gas having an oxygen content less than in the ambient air when a required electric supply in the actual state is higher than the base load, for use in the synthetic gas combustion system to generate the electric power corresponding to the difference between the required electric supply in the actual state and the base load.
