PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-security system by limiting the use of an image forming device according to authentication by setting a group of image forming devices available to a user in user information.SOLUTION: A multifunction machine obtains second identification information for user authentication, transmits an authentication request including the obtained second identification information and a second address of the multifunction machine, receives an authentication result according to the authentication request, and performs log-in on the basis of the result of authentication. An IC card authentication server manages device control information including a first address and user information including first identification information for user authentication, determines whether the multifunction machine from which authentication is requested is available to the user or not according to the received authentication request, transmits an authentication success result when available, or transmits an authentication failure result when unavailable.
