PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method/system for detecting and processing data regarding a user and an environment surrounding the user, and actively and automatically providing personal assistance, using a robotic platform/device, on the basis of the detected and analyzed data.SOLUTION: The invention provides, e.g., a computer-based method of actively and automatically providing personal assistance using a robotic device or platform coupled to at least one sensor, a communications unit, and an output device.
