The present invention provides a liquid softener composition capable of imparting high-level softness and deodorization to an object to be laundered without being impacted by a detergent, even when being used under conditions where detergent remains in the laundering water. The present invention is a liquid softener composition containing one or more antibacterial agents selected from the group consisting of (A) and (B): (A) amino-modified silicone; and (B) a biguanide antibacterial agent and a compound represented by a general formula (3): R12-N[(CH2)n-NH2]2 (3) (where R12 represents a C8-18 alkyl group and n is a number of 1 to 4).
