<p>Provided are a cell handover method and device. The method comprises: instructing a UE which operates on a first frequency point cell to measure a second frequency point cell;according to the measurement result reported by the UE, establishing an active set corresponding to a second frequency point, sending configuration information about the active set to the UE, so as to instruct the UE to establish an active set on the second frequency point, the active set comprising information about a target frequency point cell which establishes a signalling bearer together with the UE; and when it is determined that the UE cannot operate on the first frequency point cell, sending a handover indication to the UE, so as to instruct the UE to handover to the target frequency point cell from the first frequency point cell.In the technical solution of the present invention, pilot frequency measurement and signalling bearer establishment are performed in advance for cell handover, thereby being beneficial for improving the efficiency and success rate of cell handover.</p> |
