The present invention provides a method for designing an engineering and construction structure, which includes analyzing rigidity degraded portions where the degradation of rigidity occurs after the calcination of the engineering and construction structure considering a P-delta effect caused by horizontal displacement resulting from the weight and horizontal load of the engineering and construction structure, with respect to an acting seismic wave; and applying, to the engineering structure, a combination of a general strength member and a high-strength member with yield stress higher than the general strength member to correspond to the rigidity degraded portions. Therefore, the method can perform a static analysis requiring less analysis time to reduce time required for design and analysis, thereby being economical; can properly arrange the high-strength member in the engineering and construction structure, thereby preventing the degradation of strength and rigidity of the engineering and construction structure without increasing the sizes of frame members; and does not require additional seismic equipment such as a damper or the like, thereby making the engineering structure simple and economical. |
