<p>The invention relates to a seat apparatus for a vehicle. The seat apparatus comprises a backrest with at least one support element for supporting a spinal area of a human occupant of the seat apparatus. The support element extends in the vertical direction of the backrest at least over a portion of the backrest. The support element has an adjustable volume and the seat apparatus comprises an adjusting device by means of which a fluid for adjusting the volume of the support element is capable of being conveyed into the support element and out of the support element. The support element may be designed as an inflatable bag. The support element may extend in the vertical direction of the backrest over the entire backrest.</p> |
