<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle preservation solution capable of efficiently and accurately fractionating a prescribed amount of particles, and a particle preservation method. <P>SOLUTION: The particle preservation solution contains both particles for immobilizing materials derived from living bodies and a preservation solution for preserving the particles. A ratio of specific gravity between the specific gravity (S1) of the particles and the specific gravity (S2) of the preservation solution is 0.4 or below.
