A display device (1) includes a light source part to output a light, a light incidence part (12) into which the light outputted from the light source part (10b) is inputted, a groove part (15a) formed in a are first surface of the light incidence part based on a display pattern to be displayed via the light incidence part, a background part (16) formed on the first surface of the light incidence part (12) except the groove part (15a) and configured to form a background of the display pattern, and a reflection part (17) formed on the groove part (15a) to reflect a part of the light that enters the light incidence part (12) so as to form the display pattern on the background formed by a part of the light reflected by the background part (16). The inputted light is outputted outside through a second surface opposite to the first surface of the light incidence part.
