摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of positioning an ejector pin which can automatically measure the position of the center of the tip of an ejector pin, without having data about the ejector pin in advance, and to provide an electronic component feeder which uses the same. SOLUTION: An ejector pin 45 for pushing up a component P, such as, a diced bare chip on an expand table is photographed from above by means of an imaging device 25. On the basis of the data about the photographed images, cumulative histograms HX and HY that display cumulative values of luminance in two axes of a system of coordinates consisting of two perpendicular axes are created; and based on the distribution of the cumulative histograms, an average value of each cumulative histogram is calculated, and the position of the center of the tip of the ejector pin is grasped from these average values and the ejector pin is positioned accordingly.
