A mechanical steering lock (1) for vehicles is equipped with a mechanical steering lock device (2) manually operable by means of a mechanical key (3) and with an electric rotating switch (4) coupled to the mechanical steering lock device (2) to associate an electric function of the mechanical steering lock (1) with each position of the key (3); the mechanical steering lock device (2) having a control member (35) which pivots under the thrust of the mechanical key (3) and the electric rotating switch having a printed circuit board (10) carrying a plurality of fixed electric contacts (16) resting on the outer surface of the printed circuit board (10); and a plurality of movable electric contacts (41, 42, 43, 44, 45) adapted to slidingly cooperate with the fixed electric contacts (16) and angularly integral with the control member (35). |
