The assembly (100) has several pressure plates (111-114) that are represented by Pi-Pn where n is greater than four, five and six. The pressure plates are provided with a structure for the introduction of surface structure into a material to-be-pressed. The pressure plates are connected on the end sides to each other. The initial pressure plate (111) and the last pressure plate (114) are interconnected on the end sides (131,134) such that the closed band structure is formed. An independent claim is included for method for producing decorated surface-patterned laminate.
