LITHIUM METAL ELECTRODE MODIFIED BY CONDUCTIVE POLYMER, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND LITHIUM METAL BATTERY COMPRISING THE SAME

Provided are a lithium metal electrode modified by a conductive polymer, a manufacturing method thereof and a lithium metal battery using the same. The modification of lithium metal comprises the step of coating the lithium metal with a polymer solution containing a block copolymer composed of an electroconductive polymer and an ion conducting polymer and drying the lithium metal coated with the polymer solution. Accordingly, the surface of the lithium metal can be stabilized and the growth of dendritic lithium can be inhibited. Also, the stability and lifetime characteristics of the lithium metal battery can be improved by applying the modified lithium metal and interfacial resistance between an electrode and an electrolyte can be lowered to uniformize a current distribution.
