<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technique which enables inhibition of unnecessary branch guidance for a user who travels in a lane made passable by satisfying prescribed conditions, in accordance with a recommendable route. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation system includes a determination means which determines whether traveling is conducted in the lane which is made passable by satisfying the prescribed conditions, and a guidance means which performs guidance on traveling at a branch, on this side of the branch, when the determination means determines that traveling is not conducted in the conditional lane; while inhibiting guidance on the traveling at the branch, when the determination means determines that traveling is conducted in the conditional lane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
