The present disclosure teaches a method and a system (10) for relaying telecommu­nication signals (S1, S2) having a plurality of carriers (401, 402). The system (10) comprises a central hub (20) connectable to one or more base stations (5, 6); a plurality of remote units (80-i,.,, 80­N) for relaying at least one of the plurality of carriers (401, 402) in the telecommunication signals (S1 S2) supplied by the central hub (20). Power of the plurality of remote units (80-1,.., 80-N) is adjustable such that first ones of the plurality of remote units (80-1,..„ 80-N) can be switched off and second ones of the plurality remote units (80-1,.., 80-­N) can have adjusted power levels to compensate for the switch off of the first ones of the plurality of remote units (80-1,.., 80-N). Switching off remote units allows the system to save power during periods of low demand. An embodiment relates to an indoor Distributed Antenna System (DAS). Also described is passing defined carrier bundles from the central hub to the operational remote units.
