The method involves conveying print products (10) with a feeding device along a feeding section (20) and transferring the print products from the feeding section to processing sections (34, 36, 38), individually. Control signals are generated from a control unit (70). The control signals are set corresponding to a treatment of each print product and to transfer each print product to the processing section to process the print products. The print products are supported along the processing section in pockets (52) of a pocket belt conveyor. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus for processing print products.
