Embodiments of the present invention relate to a device for determining the sensitivity of capacitive sensing device including a sensor capacitor with variable capacitance. The device includes a measuring module and a processor. The measuring module determines a first amount representing first capacitance of the sensor capacitor in response to a first electrical input signal, and determines a second amount representing second capacitance of the sensor capacitor in response to a second electrical input signal to the sensor capacitor. The processor is configured to determine the sensitivity of the sensing device based on the first and second amounts determined by the measuring module. |
