Provided is a terminal comprising: a charging unit which receives a current from a charger to charge a battery, forms a current path for allowing a current up to a first level to flow according to control signals, and detects that an input voltage from the charger drops; a load unit which is branched from an input terminal of the charging unit to the ground so that the current inputted from the charger can be distributed, and forms a current path for allowing a current up to a second level to flow according to the control signals; and a controller which generates the control signals to set the first level current in the current path of the charging unit and set the second level current in the current path of the load unit, and performs detection of capacity of the charger based on the sum of the first level current and the second level current if the charging unit detects that the input voltage drops while the charger is connected to the charging unit. |
