An embodiment of the present invention relates to a clamping device for a machine tool mounted on a spindle. The clamping device for a machine tool according to the embodiment of the present invention comprises a clamping chuck having multiple clamping jaws for supporting one side of workpieces and a linear scale for measuring the diameter of the workpieces by measuring the linear displacement of the multiple clamping jaws; a pressure sensor installed in one or more clamping jaws to measure the pressure applied to the workpieces by the multiple clamping jaws; a load cell installed in one clamping jaw positioned in the rearmost among the multiple clamping jaws to measure the weight of the workpieces; a hydraulic pressure supply line for supplying hydraulic pressure to the clamping chuck; a hydraulic pressure adjusting part installed in the hydraulic pressure supply line to adjust the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clamping chuck so as to clamp the workpieces; and a control part for controlling the hydraulic pressure adjusting part based on at least one information among the diameter of the workpieces, the pressure applied to the workpieces, and the weight of the workpieces received from the linear scale, the pressure sensor, and the load cell, respectively. |
